Buildtold ("we", "us") operates buildtold.com. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it while Buildtold is in pre-launch. It is short, because we collect very little.

What we collect

The email address you give us when you join the waitlist. That is it. We do not require a name, and we do not collect payment information at this stage. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count page visits in aggregate; it does not identify you and sets no tracking cookies.

How we use your email

To email you when Buildtold launches, and occasionally to share meaningful progress before then. We will not send unrelated marketing, and we will not email you more than needed.

Who we share it with

Your email is stored and sent through Buttondown, our email provider, solely to deliver these messages. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone else, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your choices

Every email includes one-click unsubscribe. You can also ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing[email protected], and we will remove you promptly.

Data retention

We keep your email only until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If you are still subscribed at launch, we will continue emailing you under the then-current policy.
